I feel the same with photos. I would much rather have pictures that I can thumb through and look at in person, instead of on a computer screen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-31690592339988899542010-02-17T09:48:24.750-08:002010-02-17T09:48:24.750-08:00I'm pretty passive-aggressive about this. If we can't smile at our own expense, we come off as whiny and defensive IMO.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-45433709575349351402010-02-17T09:37:12.752-08:002010-02-17T09:37:12.752-08:00I Hate the term "snail mail". Of course mailing a letter takes longer than electronic correspondence, but they can't carry the personal touch that a hard copy letter does. A hand written card or letter will brighten someones day much more than an e-mail and it only costs 44 cents no matter where in the USA you mail it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-33592876712426278712010-02-17T08:01:56.695-08:002010-02-17T08:01:56.695-08:00I used to hate it, but -- it's caught on so un...I used to hate it, but -- it's caught on so universally -- there's nothing to do but embrace it.grannybunnynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-12205923146132786862010-02-17T07:57:41.744-08:002010-02-17T07:57:41.744-08:00I like to think that email is still a from of mail...I like to think that email is still a from of mail and "snail" mail is simply a way to refer to the speed the mail pieces take. So...it is what it is. I also don't take offense to the term becuase its an accurate discription.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-18651156256040555682010-02-17T05:20:31.562-08:002010-02-17T05:20:31.562-08:00Slow but steady wins the race.Slow but steady wins the race.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-23520191327768457122010-02-17T05:20:12.149-08:002010-02-17T05:20:12.149-08:00Slow but steady wins the race.Slow but steady wins the race.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7427238665701917635.post-43689125319322208752010-02-17T04:40:43.262-08:002010-02-17T04:40:43.262-08:00Well, considering that an email can get across the...Well, considering that an email can get across the country in seconds, and a letter can take days, "snail" pace is an appropriate comparison. I don't take offense with the fun that people have with it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
