Well done or well said?

Several hundred years ago (it seems like yesterday!), I said, "Well done is better than well said."

Well done IS better than well said, but in this case I think the Postal Service needs to say more.

That said, however, I agree that we not only need to continue to do it better than our competitors, but also point this out to our customers!!

At the end of the day people look at what is well done and then look for what is well said by the person who did it well. We do not see people quoting who do not well done deed behinf him/her.

Truth is truth, and does not change from generation to generation - nor management to management. The USPS must perform more loudly than we proclaim. Priority parcels scanned at the Mail Processing Center serving the Post Office of deposit 7 DAYS after mailing? NOT well done, nor well said!!!
