Have you ever thought of an idea for a subject you’d like to see on a postage stamp? Well, if you weren’t quite sure how to get that idea to the right destination, here’s your chance.
The Postal Service invites you to submit your idea for a future stamp release. Before you start flooding the gates with submissions though, you might want to check out some of the rules and guidelines from beyondtheperf.com first. Also, be sure to review the stamp subject criteria to make sure you’re submitting a usable idea.
Once you think you have the perfect subject for submission, send it to:
Citizens’ Stamp
Advisory Committee
1735 N Lynn Street Ste 5013
Arlington , VA 22209-6432
When submitting an idea, keep in mind that the submission process is not a short one and can take at least three years to get approval. Also, there is no compensation or official recognition for submitting a selected idea.
If a single living person were allowed to be on a stamp, who do you think it should be? Comment here.

I would like to see Nelson Mandela honored on a postage stamp.
Billy Graham for sure!
Also, for whoever runs this site, will you please put the words you want us to type in below in a legible format?
I'd like to see a stamp series of Ahhnold in some his cool roles. Conan, Terminator, and Twins would rock!
I always thought they should put the FBI's Ten Most Wanted on stamps. The same goes for missing children...children that have taken by another parent etc.
Most people, myself included, never see wanted posters or missing posters but we see stamps all the time.
Yes it may result in numerous false reports but if it gets one sick bastard off the street or saves a childs life then I think it is worth it.
Yes, Billy Graham would be a great choice and so would Nelson Mandela.
I would like to see a pageful (sheet) of 8-16 different stamps of our wounded warriors--real faces and their real physical injuries.
I would like stamps showing fashion--purses, shoes, etc. or from the diff years
Dr.Charles Stanley
I'd like to see a stamp of the farmer's who work so hard to feed the nation. I am so proud of them.
Since we are attempting to save money how about reprinting some of the best sellers in our past history of stamps? Since the art work should have been preserved, and it would be an awesome opportunity for some of us to own stamps we were too young to buy before, why not?
How about someone who served their country with a lifetime of distinction, like Colin Powell?
Why don't they make a Save the Postal Service stamp!!
