Las Vegas City Letter Carrier Joseph Beane was surprised on his route when Publisher Clearinghouse's famous Prize Patrol pulled up next to his vehicle.
They presented Beane with a check for $1 million.
So, what do you think Joe should do with his fame and fortune? Should he keep working?

I bet he is no longer worried about being laid off! :)
A million dollars is great, but -- in the words of a member of the Super Rich -- "doesn't go as far as it used to." If I won a million, I would probably keep working until my planned retirement age.
Nice little nest egg. I am with Grannybunny, keep working until you can retire, but make sure you enjoy it also!!
Congradulations! His choice to work or retire. Just have some fun!
He should give thanks....take a vacation...then keep on working, unless he is able to retire now. If so, step aside and let someone else have the job to earn a living for their family. I would say he is ONE LUCKY PERSON...I really didn't belive in the PRIZE PATROL...till now!

Wow, what a windfall!! Wish I had his difficult decision to make!! :)
How DID this news ever get out? What happens is Vegas stays in Vegas, or at least I thought!
Congratulations just the same!
I didn't believe anyone really won these sweepstakes. They had to contact someone to figure out where he'd be on his route - can you imagine trying to keep that secret? And what a great surprise. I'm not sure I'd be in any shape to finish the route. Congratulation and enjoy - but spend (or save) wisely.
Hey, big guy. Congrats. Wonder if you were on the clock when you submitted your entry? Your supervisor or maybe the 204B is extremely envious of you, having a leg up on them!!!! Give 'em a BIG, BIG Raspberry for all of us carriers. Hep, hep, hooray!!!!
