Mailing children

This city letter carrier posed for a photograph with a young boy in his mailbag. According to the Smithsonian Institute, at least two children were sent through the Postal Service after parcel post was introduced in 1913. With stamps attached to their clothing, the children rode with railway and city carriers to their destination.

After these two examples, word filtered up to the Postmaster General, who banned the shipment of ...people.

What do you think?

Maybe it's time to renew the service; we are the most trusted government agency.

Sounds good as long as they weigh less than 70 pounds

Ya wonder sometimes if the kids were delivered to the wrong address and or if they can be returned to sender.

This brings up a great point. If we can't trust mailing our children to right address through the postal service, how can we be most trusted agency. Probably if we approve this service at a premium, we can contract with Divorce and other agencies who can help in and get Postal service discount as customers. All those separated parents who do not want to meet each other can take up this service. Flights do have this service. If a customer don't identify themselves with a valid id why should we accept any letter or package. We make it $100 for Postal id and times that addres we will fortune 1 firm.

I do not think that people -- or animals, including chickens, ducklings, worms, bees, crickets, etc. -- should be mailable.

How do you figure the amount of insurance? Since this is a high value item, will he fit in the registered sack?

I'm gonna wrap myself in paper, I'm gonna dab myself with glue, stick some stamps on top of my head, I'm gonna mail myself to you!
