Have you ever wanted to share your fun photos, offbeat stories, and positive postal news and experiences? Rules of the road? Keep it upbeat, be considerate, and keep it clean.
First class service combined with or 'express' desire to serve you promptly. We serve our 4 ounce regular first class ribeye, 6 ounce priority plate ribeye, and for the best money--10 ounce express ribeye.
Oh, lighten up. If you only worry about the problems and don't have some fun once in a while, you'll give yourself an aneurism!
ON topic, how about: Sandwiches on "flat" bread? Call ahead for "Priority" seating? Carryout "Express" service? Meals with salad, dessert and drink as a "package" deal?
Too much doom and gloom for you? Here's an idea-why not invite those who used to work there and lost their jobs to eat there, your treat. Then you can get them all together, take their picture and hang it on the wall. I'm guessing that since this doesn't bother you too much that you're not on the list for closing. How about a little empathy for those who are?
We all understand the frustration and uncertainty that many are going through with the post office closings--heck, we're all frustrated right now--but this post office is not one of them.
This office was closed in 1989 when a new facility was built to replace it. The building was bought in 1996 by a pair of brothers who opened the pub, keeping much of the postal memorabilia as decorations. You can read a very good article about it here: http://www.connectmidmissouri.com/news/story.aspx?id=564097
The Postal Service selling off buildings that were constructed during the Depression (very expensive to heat/cool/maintain/not ADA compliant) in prime downtown locations is preferable to layoffs or cuts in service.
They are worried about what was painted on a mail box and then have this in here. What the hell!! I think this is lowering the postal services image. What is going on here? Since the new PMG has been in we have been getting a black eye at least once a week!! And i really don't care who bought it and kept the postal stuff!! If any other person was to do this the postal service would shut it down!!!! Next thing you will see is a postal strip club!! Come on now!!

I wonder if anyone has walked in and asked if they could mail something or buy stamps.
Postal screw!!!
How about a "postal sour" - it has a lot of bitters in it and causes many people to lose their jobs. There's nothing funny about this.
Knowing how management like to use abreviations, a BLT comes to mind. Is the food served in short trays?
This is ridiculous! Don't we ALL have something better to be DOING...like thinking up "creative ways" to SAVE the POSTAL SERVICE!
UNREAL!

to Anonymous - we're just trying to have a little fun here. All doom and all gloom makes us all grumpy.

"Kentucky CertiFRIED Chicken", maybe?
Since Ben Franklin said beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy they should have a beer called Old Ben or something.
