We like Al, but we LOVE our real delivery folks!

I would have labeled the photo...
"Dedication" or maybe
"Special Delivery" or
"Gotta Love the Job"

Or it should be labeled

Going above & beyond the call of duty!!

Wish all rural carriers were as dedicated as this one. Our rural anylist had to send out an e-mail today instructing rural carriers to dismount when the box is temporarily blocked.

I think this is foolish and dangerous, and our rural carriers should NOT be dismounting to make such deliveries.

I agree about this being dangerous, very unsafe. I tell my rural carrier if the box is blocked, DO NOT get out of your vehicle to service the box.

OK, so we have a route with 325 boxes and that many dismounts? That makes for an awfully long day. It is the owners responsibility to clear the snow from the receptacle.
