Forever, pre-paid Priority Mail envelopes and boxes proposed

According to Post and Parcel, we may offer “Forever” postage for our Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging.

The move would allow us to offer bundles of pre-paid Priority Mail flat-rate packaging, including various types of envelope and boxes. This packaging would incorporate labels with the Forever postage affixed.

According to Post and Parcel, the packaging will be available in packs of three, five, 10 and 25 items. The packs will be available online before they are available through retail partners.

Do you think there is a market for this? Good idea? Comment here.

This is absolutely a good idea; it would bring in money now -- when USPS really needs it -- with the actual delivery service to be provided sometime in the future, if ever.

I think the forever and flat-rate products are the key to our future. Customers pay now and mail at their convenience without having to calculate additional costs.

We are an organization of multiple rules and regulations, we need to make it simple - translate easy -for our customers to keep doing business with us.

Many of my customers try to pay me in advance for the flat-rate boxes, so I don't think this would be a stretch to sell. I think it's a great idea!!

Absolutely. We need to have to stay ahead and this will help customers want to do business with us. One stop shop without worrying about adding more postage at a later date.

I hate to be the guy who throws a wrench in the gearbox, but with the 11oz. restriction, how do we comply with Aviation Security protocol?

We are grabbing for money now, but what happens later? We can't sell all our shipping now and then deliver later when our costs are even higher.
