Letters to Santa

Kids are starting to write letter to Santa. What do you think they'll be asking for?
More importantly, what are YOU  asking for?

Dear Santa:

All I want for Chritsmas time is a compassionate heart for my Postmaster so that he can sent me help at the retail counter. So that I too can spread good cheer to our valued customers.

Yours,
One Postal Clerk

Dear Santa,
I would like my small one person post office, in rural Ohio, to be here for a long, long time. I service a lot of Seniors and Amish in this community. Please do not close me (The Postmaster only has 5 years till she can retire, any early retirement money coming her way??).

Thank you,

a 180 year old one room schoolhouse building converted to the Post Office in 1962.

I want the economy to pick up so we can keep our jobs and so the many unemployed can find good jobs too!!!
Other than that - I just wish to be happy and contented.

Dear Santa,
I would like for you to keep my small Post Office open for a long time so we can service our customers the way they deserve!!
Thank you,
Small town Postmaster

I'd like to hit the lottery so I could give away the money and/or gifts. Giving is more fun than receiving.

I'd like for our organization to hire some live bodies for mail delivery and customer service. It's ridiculous to have carriers out walking the streets in the dark. It's not cost efficient to be paying people to work FDOT because no help can be found from neighboring offices. It's not right for hundreds of post offices to have no postmaster. It is beyond silly for our offices to be using antiquated equipment like floppy disks that continually crash. Please help us.

Dear Santa
I wish for all people (worldwide) to have a meal at least once a day, for each person to have a job that is fulfilling as well as providing the needs of their family. May we be tolerant of others even if we can not believe as they do.

I'm wishing for the economy to continue to improve and for unemployment to drop precipitously. If we can have 2 wishes, I'm also wishing that Congress will give USPS some financial relief, so that we won't go bankrupt at the end of FY11.

I'm wishing for a $75 billion dollar gift from Congress.......

I'm wishing that DUO, which is taking away my volume, small-town customer service and, eventually, my Post Office (60 miles from the nearest town), would go away. USPS is shooting itself in the foot by closing these little offices. I'm the face of the US government out here and a public relations dream for the USPS. Once I'm gone, so will the loyalty of my customers.
I was going to retire in a year anyway, but this is a sad end to 20 years of dedicated service.

Dear Santa... Please take away my manager's ego and power, show him the inefficiency of his ways, and provide him with positive reinforcement so that he may pass this along to his workers.
WOW - I think it should of been "Dear God"...

Dear Santa... I wish you would give my name and address to the person in this blog that wants to win the lottery and give the money away! Giving is fun, but I would like to show them just how much fun it can be to receive!!!
