Have you ever wanted to share your fun photos, offbeat stories, and positive postal news and experiences? Rules of the road? Keep it upbeat, be considerate, and keep it clean.
I have received nothing but negative reactions to this series of stamps. Many people found this series to have a negative impact on society and have stated they will be sure not to contribute by buying these stamps.
I echo the comments from the previous poster. From everyone I've talked to, they think that with publishing the Simpsons stamps, the Postal Service has sunk to a new low.
I have loved the Simpsons from the very first episode. Although on the outside it can be crass and they obviously have their problems, at the heart of the show is a family that loves and cares about each other and always sticks together in the end.
I was very surprised at the decision to use the Simpsons on a stamp. I have never watched this show except for a couple of minutes to see it's content. I refused to let my children watch it. I do believe that it is in poor taste to use them on a stamp which should represent an honor for whomever it is depicting. Why would you honor something so bizarre and crude?
Looking to save money? Put out one stamp per denomination and be done with it...my customers could care less about what's on the face, just so the mail gets there.
