In 2009, President Barack Obama signed an Act designating
September 11 as the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This special day
brings people together in the spirit of cooperation and unity as it did on the
day of the 9/11 attacks in 2001 and encourages individuals to volunteer in
their local communities.
When going about your business today, be sure to honor those
we lost 11 years ago in your own special way.
